I have never really decorated for Valentine's Day but after seeing many of your lovely decorations I decided to do a little here and there myself.
The first thing I did was check in with the very talented Cherry to see what her little creative mind had whipped up. As usual she had made some really cool stuff like these vintage hearts and I had to order one.
She also sent me this really cute Valentine tag!
Along with a sweet Valentine card....
It was so cute I am going to leave it out on my desk for everyone to see!
I decided to hang the Vintage Heart on the concrete angel in my hallway....
A dear friend made this cute puffy heart for me last year.
And my "hazel" heart pillow stays out year round.
It all came together to create this welcoming little spot.
I put a few black and white photos of family members in this silver heart dish my oldest daughter gave me the year she got married. It is very special to me.
This puff heart was a wedding gift to me a billion years ago!
The tag Cherry sent ended up on this chest.
And of course fresh roses just seem to say...
Happy Valentine's Day!
Just BEAUTIFUL! Thanks for sharing with us Jules!

You always know how to make things look so festive. The heart dish that your daughter gave you is beautiful. Do you leave that out year-round?
I have candy conversation hearts in hurricanes which the kids dip into :) I also found some cute mini paper lanterns/garland at Walmart to hang on our mantle.

Well, I'm still under about 10 inches of snow and more to come...I have snowmen lingering around my home! Think I'll "skip" Valentines decor this yr...gonna be gone that weekend anyway. That's mid winter break up here. OH...love that spot by the stairs...I noticed your acorns...you must love those!

Love it! And it gets me in the mood too.
I do hope you're continuing to thaw out there and recover from the ice storm. For some reason your frozen pictures keep coming to my mind, so I keep saying little prayers for y'all.

You should consider writing a book--you are a Southern version of Martha Stewart (and we all know the South is way better when it comes to this stuff ;) )

Everything looks so pretty! I love the things Cherry does and you found the perfect places for everything!
I went to Sara Kathryn's on Saturday to spend my gift card. I found some great things but I think I'm going to wait until she gets her spring things in. :) I can't wait!

I heart valentines day! I don't have much in the way of decorations yet, but every year I'll add a little something. Your decorations are SO pretty! And I just love the Hazel heart pillow. Love it!

So cute! I just love this time of year, but never really decorate for it. I've got to get started!

I've never been much of a decorator for Valentines. I thought it would be too much effort after just getting the Christmas stuff put away. I love the simple ideas you used though - so festive but not over the top. I may just have to hang some hearts this year!
