The extremely talented Lisa at Take 90 West has tagged me for a Meme.
I loved all her responses on how blogging has affected her life and will now try and come up with my own original ones and ignore the tendency to copy hers!
Here are the rules:
1. Write about 5 specific ways blogging has affected you, either positively or negatively.
2. link back to the person who tagged you
3. link back to this parent post
4. tag a few friends or five, or none at all
5. post these rules— or just have fun breaking them
1. Family: Blogging has been a great way for me to connect with family far away & to keep those that do live near connected better to our lives. . For example my cousins who I love dearly but don't see often enough have not seen Mr. Perfect in person. Through blogging they at least have gotten to see his charming pictures & know what is going on in our dysfunctional wonderful lives!
2. Friends: I have "met" girls that live in places I pray I get to visit one day. England, Canada, Ireland.....It is really cool getting to know people all over the US and beyond!
3. Faith: Blogging has become another way for me to share my faith. I have taught bible studies but through blogging I can speak in a different way about Jesus and his profound impact on my every day life.
4. Fun: I just thank it is plain ole fun! To write something silly, meaningful, entertaining.....whatever.... it is just an enjoyable outlet or hobby. It is also fun reading all the amazing blogs out there too. They make me cry, laugh, want to decorate, cook & challenge me to be better!
5. Fattening! NO REALLY! I am a mover....After my quiet time in the morning I hardly sit down. I like to get things done. I use to move around all day long. I sit more now blogging. And I like to have a munch when I blog....Not moving and eating lead to...Big THIGHS..... So that is my one negative thing. I guess one out of 5 is not too bad.
Thanks again for the challenge Lisa. It was actually quiet fun thinking through the ways blogging has affected me. And it only took five hours minutes to do!
Now let's pass this baton on to some other bloggers.....
Jackie I love her writing and view points on life!
rrmama Witty, creative & just plain ole sweet.
Karen Always shares her faith and makes us think.
Becky Is a new friend of mine that is very encouraging.
The inept aspirant Cause I like her take on things & ya'll she is smart.
You know...I hadn't thought about blaming blogging for my added 10 pounds. But I think I will!
Great post! That was fun to read.

I totally agree with you on #5. Wish there was a way to blog and run at the same time :)

I am so bad at these, but since one of the sweetest bloggers I know tagged me I will try my hardest : )! Your answers were really good. I love coming to your blog because I always walk away thinking about my relationship with Jesus more.
