I am starting fresh at this new blog spot! Come and visit me :)

Just checking to see if this blog is still up and running after a 2 year sabbatical!
Although blogging may have taken a back seat most recently adding grand childern in our family has not!
4 and counting!!! Mr. Perfect is now sharing the limelight with a sister and two nieces. As you can see he is fine with the whole thing.
And so is this Mammy;)
I have to say God's blessings are coming so fast I have barely caught my breath! We have another Princess to love!
Princess #2 was born to my middle daughter on April 16 & get this.......it was EXACTLY one month after Princess #1!!! Only the Lord could do something that special for Mammie! I marvel at the "little" details in life that He has His hand on.
Just like the past two births of my oldest daughter, I got to be in on this delivery too. What a blessing & honor it is! And it is NOT like I bribed them with food for a month or anything silly like that.
The insane really kind doctor let my son in-law scrub up and assist him with delivery.
He actually did really well and before long we had our newest little miracle.
She had tons of family members waiting eagerly to meet her.
Pops could not wait to hold grand baby #3!
And sweet Auntie Ems was there for the entire birth, coaching & encouraging her sister along.
And don't think for a moment that Mr. Perfect was not there with his mom.
It was so much fun introducing Princess #1 to Princess #2.
I can't wait to see these two grow up together....with Mr. Perfect's help of course.
But for right now we are thanking the Lord for another precious life.
And a safe delivery.
Mammie's heart is over-flowing.....
And grateful for another baby to love.
Today is Mr. Perfect's 2nd birthday!
He is SO very special to Mammy and Paw paw. (the names he recently gave us, a little different from what we picked, but who cares!)
Every time we see him we are amazed at how much he has grown and how incredibly smart he is!
Have a wonderful birthday Mr. Perfect! We love you very, very much!
Yes, it is true Mr. Perfect now has a sister! She was born mid March & has already captured our hearts!
Mr. Perfect thinks it is the most wonderful thing in the world to be a big brother. He couldn't wait to bring his mom a big bouquet of flowers for "getting" him a new sister.
Grammie got to be in on her entrance into the world. I thought about how to describe that honor but it is just not possible.......without crying of course and I have done my share of that lately!
Auntie Em's & Cara were right there too waiting to meet the newest member of our growing family.
One of the biggest problems we have encountered is trying to decide what the princess should wear on a given day.....
She did come home from the hospital in the same outfit I brought her mom home in.....about a million 20 something plus years ago.
Since then she has tried on a hundred different things.....
Among her favorite is the little tutu Auntie Em's made for her. You can tell by the pleased expression on her face.
With all this attention on Miss Princess there is no need to worry about how Mr. Perfect is handling things. Grammie & Pops have reassured him that he is still VERY important to us with lots and lots of gifts hugs!
He loves Miss Princess just as much as the rest of us!
Someday when she wakes up from her many naps....
It is me again......I am sure you thought the snow storm took me down or I drowned in a sea of chocolate! Not to worry we are all fine and recovering from a long winter like many of you.
I have soooooo many things to share with you and I know you are on the edge of your seat! But right now I have to share with you the GOOD NEWS I read about this morning in my quiet time
In Colossians 1 v 5.......Paul speaks of the gospel. The word gospel literally means "good news," and was used in classical Greek to express the good news of victory in a battle. If you can imagine yourself for a moment being in a long, grueling battle. Fighting day after day, year after year not knowing if you were winning or loosing. Then one day you hear the "good news" that the battle is over and you are on the winning side!
This is the message that is wrapped up in the gospel message. The gospel is the GOOD NEWS of Christ's victory over Satan, sin and death! Its message rings loud that God will forgive sins, deliver from sins power & give eternal hope.
I hope you have personally received the gospel message into your own heart. If you have then this truly is a GOOD FRIDAY & gives you reason to rejoice.
1 John 5:11 & 12.......God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
This weekend let your heart be one of thanksgiving to the ONE who conquered ALL that we might have eternal life & an abundant life this side of heaven.
Chicks, I know you have been on the edge of your seat wondering how we are making it in the snow storm. I will say it is absolutely beautiful.
We are holding out well since our power has stayed on and we were prepared with the needed supplies.
This is the biggest snow we have had in nearly 10 years!
With below freezing temperatures forecasted for the next few days we will be home bound for the rest of the weekend.
I better pace myself a little better so my supplies will hold out.....
