Chicks, a snow/ice storm is headed our way. It is almost one year to the day that we had the last awful ice storm.
I say WE, but really I was in New York visiting my sister, remember?
Hubby kept sending me these incredible pictures of our yard and surrounding area of what was going on while I was away.
It looks like this year I will be here to ride this one out with him. So last night we went to Wal-Mart to get a few supplies. This is what some of the shelf's looked like....
I couldn't believe my eyes. An empty shelf at Wal-Mart is unheard of! I went to another aisle.
After hunting and hunting we found, extra batteries, food we HAD to have, an extra lighter or two, bottled water & these.......
If I am going to be home bound for several days I have to have something to brighten up the room.
Gosh, I am ready for spring!

I am ready for spring too but I don't think its coming anytime soon. I hope you don't get bad weather.
It sounds like we'll miss it here but I'll be thinking of you and hoping you're warm!

Brrrr. I hope you don't have a repeat of last year & please keep all storms down there - we don't want any in SC.

We are in the path of that same storm and are supposed to go under an advisory on Thursday morning. I just hope we don't get all the ice. Snow is okay, ice is NOT!! Let's all just hope the power stays on.♥

Thinking of you and hoping the storm is not as bad as last year's. At least you have your supplies. I need spring to come too!

Can I just tell you how much I LOVE that you bought roses for your ice storm preparedness?! You are a woman after my own heart. ;) Praying it's nothing like last year.

Love the roses...sure hope the storm doesn't turn out to be like last year. We have had a yucky weather winter and I am definately ready for it to be done too!

Praying the storm misses you all together! We're supposed to get freezing temps here, too - very unusual for us. But, no ice.
I love that you bought roses. I hope you got chocolate to go with them! LOL

Good luck, I will be saying a prayer. And those roses are beautiful! And if you just need to get a way I'll have a room waiting in Texas!

I sure don't miss those winter storms. As a matter of fact, I plan on going for a walk on the beach tomorrow! It's gonna be in the 70's here. I pray y'all keep your power so you can still see those beautiful roses even after the sun goes down!
