Sweeeet!! Congratulations to him!

Sara Bowyer

I just turned the computer screen and showed this to my husband (maybe not a good thing to do) and I could see the jealousy in is eyes!! He is also a corvette lover, from a young age!!! I am going to have to start watching our savings account!!!

Darlene

What a happy man you have now!!! Look at that SMILE! YAY for his dream come true. I have a boss that is a corvette lover. He has a really old one (OK I have no clue what the year is cause I could care less...hehehe) and got a new one this year. He regularly trades them in and keeps a new one and he is 70 years old. Little boy dreams don't ever change!!

Ms.Tee

Oh, that's just the sweetest thing I've seen in a long time!! He looks so happy, too!
What a sweet person to put others first for so long - I'm so glad he finally got to have one for himself. :)

Sit a Spell

I love it! He looks precious sitting there with that HUGE smile...some dreams do come true...when you help out the dream by saving! Good for hubby! : )

rrmama

I was so hoping that would be the end of the story! Congrats to your husband on seeing his dream come true. I hope he has many great days with his new friend. And I hope he takes you along for the ride and many new memories with him.

New Diva

Good for him!!! Dreams are so very important, and not giving up on them is even more important!

Shannon

Yea! I'm glad he got it! I was hoping that the end of the story would be happy. :) Look at his smile!!!

NancysLostandFound

This is so exciting! And that grin on his face is priceless!

karen

woo hoo! (and I'm sure you will look fabulous riding beside him down the road with the top down. Once it gets warmer anyway.)

Dawn W

Congratulations!!! Just look at that smile, would ya?!

My dad had one of the 40th anniversary editions and later sold it. He has regretted selling it every single day since.

Lisa@verybusymomwith4

The perfect 'dude' fairy tale :)

Congrats on the new 'baby' it's beautiful!

shelley

I loove it! Stephen is so going to want to take a ride in it :-) That is a great inspiration/lesson to in a world of instant gratification. Good for him!

sandy

How fun! ENJOY!

Jen@OurDailyBigTop

Hooray! That's what I call a cool car. It fits him nicely. You two make a beautiful pair.

The Inept Aspirant

Yay!! I'm so happy for him! I hope you both enjoy it and it's all he hoped it would be!

Nicole@OnTheRun

YEA! That is so much fun...we have some Corvette dreams in our family, too.

And you get to be his sweet eye candy in the front:)

Leslie

That is so wonderful~~ I have chills. Good for him. Bless his little heart. Yes, saving is a good thing.

2nd Cup Linda

Please tell your husband for me that I totally "get" his dream and that I respect him so much for sacrificing along the way. If ever a person deserved this joy, it is you two, and I know that you rejoice with him, even though it wasn't your personal dream. Speaking of that ... what is YOUR personal dream??

Andrea

I'm so glad your hubby's dream has come true! That's what patience and perseverance will get you! May he enjoy many, many miles in his beautiful Corvette! Thanks for sharing.

Cathy

How awesome that his dream came true!

d

What fun. I love how happy he looks.

duchess

That's wonderful.
Congrats & have fun cruising around in that.

Shaunta

WOOHOO! I love Corvettes. If it weren't for back problems, we would so have one! The hubby said it was a pretty car!

Buzzings of a Queen Bee

Yippee for your husband! How exciting that his dream finally came true! :)
