....often go astray". That famous quote by Robert Burns fits the plans I had for keeping in touch via internet over my beach vacation.
You will be pleased at my ranting reaction when I found out I wasn't going to be on line for a week!
I mean it was disappointing but not life and death and I was on a beautiful beach, with wonderful weather, my hubby, two of my daughters, a son in-law & my really cute dress from Target. Oh, Yeah!
So, I packed up the ole lap top and got on with enjoying my week.
I would highly recommend taking a real break from the "things" that you do on a regular basis for just a few days.....to clear your head.....and to listen to life going on around you as well as to God's voice.
Now I am not saying that I did not stress over the fact that I had not responded to the tag from the Queen B. Oh, yes I did and "Queeny" I had lots of time to think of how I would answer the challenge you presented to me...... summarizing my life in 6 words.
This challenge is prompted by the book Not Quite What I Was Planning: Six Word Memoirs by Writers Famous & Obscure. by Larry Smith and Rachel Feshleiser. It's a compilation based on the story that Hemingway once bet ten dollars that he could sum up his life in 6 words. His words were, "For Sale: Baby Shoes, Never Worn".
So after a restful week and a clear head I can say the 6 words that summarize my life bottom line are....
A Life Powerfully Change by God.
Now for the fun part I get to tag 5 others to answer the same question.....
I am tagging:
Jackie @ Our Moments, Our Memories
Karen @ A Time For Everything....
Terry @ Just Call Me Grammy!
Heidi @ Frantically Simple
d @ forty b4 forty
Here are the rules:
1. Write your own six word memoir.
2. Post it to your blog including a visual illustration if you would like.
3. Link to the person who tagged you in your post and to this original post http://herebaby.blogspot.com/2008/06/six-word-memior.html if possible so we can track it as it travel across the blogsphere.
4. Tag 5 more blogs with links.
5. Don't forget to leave a comment in the tagged blogs with an invitation to play.
I can't wait to read what you chicks come up with!

I think that is a perfect choice! Thanks for playing.
I am so glad that you were able to step away from the computer for a week. That sounds wonderful!

I totally spazzed out without my internet connection. Then I watched the sunset and sunrise and realized how silly I am. Welcome back! I'll play along as soon as I can think of six words.
blessings,
karen

Oh, SO glad you got to get away for some rest. It sounds wonderful.
Hmmmm...this sounds like something I'm going to have to think about for awhile. How can I narrow it down to six words???? :) I'll give it some thought and do it soon. Thanks!
